Sourcing construction machinery and vehicle parts from China
Prepare machinery and spare-parts requests with model, serial or part numbers, operating requirements, quantities, fitment evidence and agreed inspection records.
Updated:
GD Star Auto accepts sourcing enquiries for construction machinery and vehicle parts alongside vehicle procurement. The first step is to identify the equipment or component precisely; a photograph alone may not establish specification or fitment.
Construction machinery requests
- Equipment category, brand, exact model and intended application.
- New or used condition, manufacturing year and serial identification where available.
- Required capacity, dimensions, operating weight and attachments.
- Engine, fuel, electrical or hydraulic requirements relevant to the job.
- For used equipment, recorded operating hours and available servicing or repair history.
- Quantity, destination, shipment limitations and required documents.
For used machinery, agree the inspection scope: identity plate, visible structure, leaks, attachments, start-up or operating tests and known defects. Record whether the hours are only a displayed reading or supported by other records. Specialist inspection, dismantling and load testing must be separately specified rather than assumed.
Vehicle parts requests
Give the manufacturer part number, component description, required brand or quality specification, quantity and photographs of identifying labels. Include the vehicle model, variant, production details and any relevant configuration. If a VIN is needed for compatibility checking, provide it privately to the assigned sales contact rather than publishing it in a public review or case.
Ask the supplier to confirm fitment before ordering. Similar-looking parts can differ in connector, dimensions, software, market specification or installation requirements. State whether you need genuine manufacturer parts, an agreed alternative or a sample for verification; availability must be checked before quotation.
Packaging, documents and dispatch
Specify packaging and labelling needs, inspection evidence and the proposed handover point. Machinery dimensions and weight affect route and loading choices. Some components or batteries may require additional transport handling; have the carrier and destination specialist confirm the requirements for the exact goods. Record freight, insurance and destination expenses separately in the quotation.
What if I do not know the part number?
Send clear photographs of the component and labels, vehicle details and the intended function. The team can assess the request, but compatibility must be confirmed before an order is accepted.
Can I request a single machine or a small parts batch?
State the requested quantity. Minimum order, availability, inspection and shipping arrangements depend on the item and supplier and will be confirmed in the written quotation.
